Where to buy bedsheets online: direct, marketplace or local market?
Same photo, very different sheet. Here's the checklist we'd use if we were buying, not selling.

There are four places most people in India buy bedsheets: direct from the seller's own website, a big marketplace app, the local market, or a wholesale listing. Each one has a place. Here's an honest comparison, and a checklist that works wherever you buy.

The 9-point checklist before you pay
Wherever you buy, check these. If a listing doesn't answer them, ask before ordering.
- Fabric named clearly. "Pure cotton" and "glace cotton" are different. "Cotton feel" is not a fabric.
- Size in inches, not just "double" or "king". A 90×100 inch sheet and a 108×108 inch sheet are both called king by someone.
- Fitted or flat. A fitted sheet needs your mattress size and depth.
- What's in the pack. One sheet only, or sheet plus pillow covers? How many covers, and what size?
- Real photos. Ask for a phone photo in daylight if the listing photo looks edited.
- Returns. How many days, and who pays the return pickup.
- Cash on Delivery. Useful for a first order with a new seller.
- GST invoice. A bill means there's a real business behind the order.
- A phone or WhatsApp number that answers. Try it before you order.

Why buying direct often works out better
When you buy from the seller's own website, there's no middle layer. The listing is written by the people who stock the sheet, the photos are theirs, and the phone number reaches the same team that packs the parcel. If something is wrong, one WhatsApp message fixes it.
