Sweethomee"Sir, cotton wali bhejna, glace wali nahi" is a message we get almost daily, and the very next customer asks for glace cotton because it looks richer. Both are right. They are just made for different needs. Here is how we explain the difference across our counter in Panipat.
The short answer
Pick pure cotton if you sleep hot, live somewhere humid, or want a sheet that gets softer with every wash. Pick glace cotton if you want a smooth, slightly heavy sheet with bright prints that looks dressed-up and wrinkles less.

Pure cotton: Jaipuri print and casement
Our pure cotton sheets come in two styles. Jaipuri print sheets like Boxo and Clayara are king size 100×108 inches with large 20×30 inch pillow covers. Boxo alone has 16 designs. Casement cotton like Ambience is a queen 90×100 inch sheet with 17×27 inch pillow covers, and Akshra goes up to a full 108×108 inch king.
Pure cotton lets air through, so it doesn't feel sticky on a June night. It feels a little stiff on day one and softer after a few washes. That is normal.

Glace cotton: smooth, heavy, colourful
Glace cotton has a smooth, heavy, cotton-like feel and takes bright prints very well. That is why most of our fitted sheets and quilted bedspreads are glace cotton. Karvy, for example, is a reversible quilted bedspread in heavy glace cotton, 90×100 inches, with 13 designs. Kyara is a king fitted sheet with 26 designs, and Toho is a queen flat sheet with 22.
Glace cotton is a good pick if you change sheets often for guests, like a neat look without ironing, or want something cosy in winter.
What we suggest, room by room
- Master bedroom, daily use, summer: pure cotton king, 100×108 or 108×108
- Kids' room: glace cotton fitted sheet, so it stays put
- Guest room: glace cotton queen, because it looks fresh out of the packet
