What comes in an 8-piece diwan set

Will it fit my diwan?
Most Indian diwans are single-bed width, about 30 to 36 inches wide and 72 to 78 inches long. A 90×57 inch sheet covers the top and hangs down the front and sides. Measure your diwan's top and add the height you want to cover on each side.
Chenille or printed cotton?
- Chenille is thick and soft with a slight sheen, so it looks rich and festive. Our chenille set is 500 TC with fast colours.
- Printed cotton is lighter, cooler in summer and easier to wash often.
For a formal living room, choose chenille. For a diwan the family sits on every day, printed cotton is more practical.
How to style a diwan
- Put the two bolsters at the ends and three cushions against the wall in the middle.
- Keep the other two cushions for the sofa or chairs to tie the room together.
- For festivals, add a contrast runner or a small table with a diya near the diwan.
Washing
The chenille set can be machine or hand washed. Do not bleach it. Tumble dry, or dry it in the shade to keep the colours bright.
