SweethomeeOur most common complaint about cushions is "cushion flat lag raha hai". It usually isn't the cover. It's a filler that is too small or too light for it. Here are the sizes we stock and how we match them when we pack an order.
Cushion cover sizes and where they go
Our velvet cushion covers (Sovel, Checkbutton and Leafy) come in three sizes. Each one has a soft velvet front, a polyester back and a hidden zip. They are sold in packs of 2, 3, 4 or 5. Fillers are not included, so order them separately.

Filler sizes and weights
Our cushion fillers have virgin microfibre filling in a non-woven shell. Weight matters more than size for how full a cushion looks.

How to match a filler to a cover
- Same size gives a neat, fitted look. Use a 12×12 filler in a 12×12 cover, or a 24×24 in a 24×24.
- One size up gives a plump, hotel-style look. For a 16×16 cover, a 18×18 filler fills the corners nicely. We don't stock a 16×16 filler, so this is what we pack.
- Smaller filler = flat cushion. A 15×15 filler in a 16×16 cover works, but it looks softer and less full.
Sleeping pillows and pillow covers
Match your sleeping pillow to the pillow covers that come with your bedsheet. Our queen bedsheets usually come with 17×27 inch covers, and king sheets with 20×30 inch covers.
Our sleeping pillows use virgin microfibre filling and come as a pack of 2 in four sizes.

Bolsters for diwan and bed
Round bolsters finish a diwan set and are great as back support on the bed. Our bolster has a striped polyester shell with about 1100 g of virgin microfibre filling, sold as a combo of 2.

Which filler fits a 16×16 cushion cover?
An 18×18 filler gives a full, plump look in a 16×16 cover. A 15×15 filler also fits but looks flatter.
Do cushion covers come with filler?
No. Our velvet cushion covers are sold without fillers. Order fillers separately in the matching size.
What size pillow fits a 17×27 pillow cover?
A 17×27 inch sleeping pillow. Our pillows come in 15×25, 16×26, 17×27 and 18×28 inches.
Can I machine wash velvet cushion covers?
Yes, on a gentle cycle. Take out the filler first, close the zip, and don't use bleach.
